
I obtained my B.S. in Chemical Engineering (Petrochemistry) at University of Arak in Iran. After that, I went to France to continue my education in 2000.
I earned a Master’s degree in Analytical & Material Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Catalysis) at University of Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg (France) in 2005.
My thesis was financed by Total Company and the research subject was Fischer-Tropsch reaction (transformation the natural gas to oil).
I worked one year as a postdoctoral researcher at Laboratory of LMSPC in France. The research was using a new catalyst to transform Methanol to Olefins.
I came to the US in 2006. I have worked at San Joaquin Refining Company as a chemical engineer in Bakersfield, California
(2006-2015). My first experience in education was teaching chemistry and math at a high school in Iran for
two years (1998-2000). Then, I have taught as an adjunct instructor at Bakersfield College since August 2007.
I have also taught chemistry at Mt. San Antonio College in Los Angeles
from 2008 to 2013. In addition, I have taught chemistry
at CSUB (California State University of Bakersfield) from
2013 to 2015. I am glad to be participating in these
challenging experiences.
